Whatever it is, it\'s not in your stomach or upper intestines/colon. If this was the case, you would have black or tarry stools.
Sounds like you might have hemorrhoids. You might also have patches of skin in your lower colon that stick out, and then when your body is trying to pass stools, it gets caught and scratches these patches of skin and causes bleeding.
The very extreme case is that it could be lower colon cancer. I don\'t mean to worry you, this is very rare and you would most likely have many other noticable symptoms if you are at the point of bleeding.
Try not to strain when you use the toilet. Also drink lots of water and eat foods with fiber in them. If you don\'t like any food with fiber in it, use fiber supplements. This will help you pass stools easier and it will make them softer so that they will not cause bleeding until your doctor figures out what\'s going on.
