Continue with the cream. The hemorrhoid may continue to shrink, but it can take time. If the hydrocortison component is bothering you, there are other prescription creams available that do not contain it, so ask your doc for a different prescription.
If the hemorrhoid continues to bother you and/ or isn\'t going away as fast as you\'d like, contact your doctor. You may have to have a hemorrhoidectomy.

Of course you cannot and should not have a hemorrhoidectomy until you have delivered, but some pregnancy related hemorrhoids do not go away. If they become bothersome and the symptoms are not relieved with conservative treatment, you may elect to have surgery to remove it/them (that is a hemorrhoidectomy).
Unfortunately, it\'s probably not going to have a reasonable chance of resolving until you deliver. However the treatment you\'re receiving sounds reasonable and there has been some response. Again, if the cortisone component in the Anusol is causing problems, ask your doctor for a cortisone-free preparation (they are available) to at least keep it from becoming worse.
