Ok, Ive asked a couple of questions regarding this over the past few weeks, but I\'ll try to keep this brief, I noticed some blood in a bowel movement, and thought it to be hemorrhoids, so I drank more water and got more fiber into my diet and all seemed well, until about 3 weeks later when I noticed it had started again, so I went to see a doctor about it and she sent me to get some tests taken, I went into the pathology place and got 2 stool tests and a blood test done, that was a few days ago (about 3-5 I think, Ive been worried sick and am convinced Its something life threatening, so I\'m not too worried about the date). My symptoms include varying color\'s of blood, in small quantities it will be bright red, slightly larger quantities tend to be darker, I haven\'t noticed any mucus or any other abnormalities, apart from a little while ago (half an hour at the most) when I noticed one side of the BM was seemingly flat, and when I wiped there was a small amount of bright red blood on the toilet paper which was gone after one wipe, I did experience slight abdominal discomfort a while ago, but I suspect it was from the anxiety, I tend to worry and assume the worst when it comes to diseases, I am not feeling any different from my usual self, I have not lost any weight, and as far as I can tell I\'m not anemic. I feel normal in every sense. So what could this be? The blood on the toilet paper has only happened once, all the rest has been in (it doesn\'t mix with the water, but it always appears to be on the surface) the BM. The doctors would have called if it was something that needed urgent attention, or if I tested positive for something serious, wouldn\'t they? I don\'t really feel like panicking any more than I already am, and just wish I could get a diagnosis or something so I could get my mind off of it, so what could it be? I\'m 17 by the way, if that matters at all, and as far as I know there is not any family history of bowel cancer or anything like that. so could anything as simple as a hemorrhoid have caused this?
