The Florida Gators women’s golf team finished in 13th place
golf clubs for sale after a difficult third and final round at the Mason Rudolph Fall Preview in Tennessee on Sunday.
The Gators fell two spots from yesterday, with a final team score of 905 (+41) for the tournament. UCLA held onto their second round lead, finishing in first place with a score of 873 (+9). Behind UCLA is Alabama at +15, followed by Arizona State and Virginia tied for third at 884 (+20).
“Today’s round was
Titleist 909 F3 Fairway Wood definitely disappointing,” Florida head coach Jan Dowling said, “Our short game really let us down… and that’s stuff we can control.”
Florida’s Evan Jensen shot 75 (+3) for the third round, giving her a total score of 228 (+12).
Freshman Camilla Hedberg finished today at +4, leading the team with a 54-hole score of 222 (+6).
Also finishing at +4 today was Mia Piccio, earning her a total of 225 (+9) over the three days. Isabelle Lendl shot 80 (+8) today and a total of 231 (+15), and Andrea
Mizuno MP-53 IronsWatts finished at +7 today and 238 (+22) for the tournament.
Fortunately, Dowling doesn’t think the teams’ entire game needs revamping.
“It’s mostly a mentality thing… expecting to make it or to two putt instead of just hoping for it, there’s a big difference,” Dowling said, “We left a lot of shots out there.

The Gators will be back in Tennessee next month when they play in Knoxville at the SEC/PAC 12 Challenge from Oct. 21-23.
“I think what we can take from this is that we got to see the course we’ll be playing in the national championship,” coach Dowling
